This experienced Design Manager leads designers across locations while supporting consistency, efficiency, and scalable delivery. You will work with the General Manager, sales, operations, and field teams. The position oversees truss, floor, and engineered wood product designs for code, specification, cost, and constructability requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and mentor the design team
Standardize design practices, templates, and workflows
Oversee truss and engineered wood product projects
Review high-value designs before manufacturing release
Drive continuous improvement and resolve design issues
Requirements: Minimum seven years in truss or engineered wood design
At least three years in a leadership role
Proficiency with Mitek and AutoCAD design software
Solid building code knowledge
Engineering, Architectural Technology, or Design education preferred
