AgeCare’s Personal Support Worker provides care to residents and helps identify their needs. The position monitors care against established plans, documents information, and reports findings to a supervisor. It also supports infection prevention and control practices.
Key Responsibilities: Provide resident care according to established care plans
Observe residents and report findings to supervisors
Document information about resident care as directed
Attend education sessions, meetings, and workshops
Follow IPAC policies and procedures
Requirements: Graduate of a Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma program
Meet Ministry of Training vocational standards
Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
Meet Ontario Community Support Association standards
Know easy treatments, sanitation, and geriatric care
Bring resident care, documentation, bedside assistance, and infection prevention knowledge to AgeCare’s Personal Support Worker team.
