JMC is pleased to partner with Adelin Properties to recruit a Maintenance Worker (9-month contract) to support its commercial properties across Moncton, Dieppe, and Riverview. A family business established in New Brunswick, Adelin Properties specializes in commercial real estate development and management. Reporting to the Property Manager, the Maintenance Worker will complete general repairs, respond to tenant requests and support property improvement projects. You will travel between properties throughout the day, working independently and alongside the maintenance team. Whether you are fixing a running toilet, repairing drywall or investigating a leak, you will assess the issue, identify a practical solution and recognize when outside expertise is needed. Complete general building maintenance and repairs across commercial properties. Perform tasks such as basic plumbing repairs, drywall installation and repair, painting, carpentry and flooring repairs. Investigate leaks and other building issues, identifying potential causes and appropriate next steps. Respond to tenant maintenance requests professionally and promptly.

Assist with renovations and property improvement projects. Communicate with the Property Manager and maintenance team about priorities, progress and issues requiring additional support. Practical experience in building maintenance, renovations, construction or a related trade. Experience with plumbing, drywall, painting, flooring, carpentry, or kitchen installation is an asset. Explicit communication skills and a respectful approach to tenants, contractors and colleagues. A valid driver's licence, reliable personal vehicle for travel between properties and a smartphone. The ability to perform hands-on maintenance duties, including lifting and carrying materials and working in varying weather conditions. Compensation of $24–$27 per hour, based on experience and practical skills. A full-time schedule, generally Monday to Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. Some scheduling flexibility depending on projects and workload. Occasional evening or after-hours work for specific projects.
