Job Overview

The Line Cook/Prep Cook prepares ingredients and cooks meals for consistent, timely food service. This hands-on kitchen role supports smooth service by keeping preparation organized, following food safety practices, and coordinating with colleagues during busy periods.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and meals by washing, cutting, portioning, and organizing items for service.
- Cook menu items according to established recipes and timing, maintaining consistency and presentation.
- Handle food safely, keep work areas and equipment clean, and store ingredients appropriately.
- Support serving and food service by coordinating orders and communicating preparation needs with the team.

Qualifications

Required: Practical food preparation, cooking, meal preparation,



and food handling capabilities, with attention to cleanliness, safe practices, organization, and clear communication in a working kitchen. Preferred: Food service, restaurant, kitchen, or broader food industry experience, including serving, is helpful for adapting to service routines and supporting teammates. Your impact: Well-prepared meals and organized stations help colleagues serve customers promptly and consistently.

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
