Key Accountabilities:
- Handling and caring for animals
- Monitoring animal health status and reporting any concerns/symptoms
- Feed and tend animals
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Clean barns, pens and animal housing
- Egg collections
- Write daily basic progress reports (production results, etc.)
- Hatch baby birds and service them
- AI and other sampling/selection processes
Requirements:
- Prior experience working with live animals is considered an asset
- Must be able to handle moderate, physical labour, standing for extended periods of time, walking, etc.
