Red Seal Refrigeration Technician

Location: Lower Sackville, NS

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Compensation: $50/hr + benefits

Our client is currently seeking a Red Seal Refrigeration Technician based in the Lower Sackville area to assist with serving clients in HRM, Annapolis Valley, South Shore, Truro and Pictou County Areas. The successful candidate will have a strong refrigeration background, positive attitude, enjoy working with people, and have a robust commitment to providing high quality customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Respond to emergency service calls and troubleshoot refrigeration equipment and systems.
- Diagnose equipment issues, complete repairs, and restore systems to proper operating condition.
- Identify and recommend necessary repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance.
- Complete and maintain accurate service reports and company documentation.
- Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.
- Work occasional overtime and travel overnight when required.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company resources responsibly.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures and work practices.

What We’re Looking For





- Red Seal endorsement in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanics
- Strong refrigeration troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong documentation and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and contribute to a collaborative team.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and travel as required.
