Job Summary:
Riverview Honda is looking for a skilled and motivated Seasonal Small Engine Repair Technician to join our growing Service Department. If you enjoy diagnosing problems, working with your hands, and taking pride in quality workmanship, we want to hear from you.

In this role, you'll perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, installations, and pre-delivery preparation on recreational vehicles while helping deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Do

- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain recreational vehicles and related equipment.
- Perform warranty, customer-pay, and internal repair work in accordance with manufacturer standards.
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections and seasonal preparation work.
- Complete repair orders accurately and maintain proper documentation.
- Troubleshoot electrical, transmission, engine and accessory systems.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and with a high level of quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work collaboratively with Service Advisors, Parts personnel,



and fellow technicians.
- Support dealership goals for customer satisfaction and service excellence.

What We're Looking For

- Experience performing mechanical repairs and maintenance on powersports equipment, automobiles, or related products.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to safely use shop equipment, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Valid driver's licence and ability to maintain insurability under the Company's automobile insurance program where driving forms part of the position requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

- Small Engine Repair Technician certification or related technical training.
- Previous dealership or service-shop experience.
- Experience with small engine repairs and accessory systems.

Physical Requirements

The successful candidate must be able to:

- Stand,



bend, kneel, and perform manual tasks throughout the workday.
- Safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Work in a shop environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to common automotive and RV service materials.
- Safely operate vehicles and equipment required to perform the duties of the position.

Seasonal Employment Notice

This is a full-time seasonal position established to support operational requirements during periods of increased business activity.

Employment is expected to continue only for the duration of the seasonal business period and will end upon completion of the season unless otherwise extended by the Company based on operational requirements.
