Legal Assistant – Personal Injury & Long-Term Disability Litigation

Howie, Sacks & Henry LLP is a leading plaintiff-side personal injury law firm.

I am seeking a Legal Assistant to support my personal injury and long-term disability litigation practice. This is a full time, hybrid position based in Toronto.

Responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate litigation events, meetings and deadlines with the team.

Conduct new client intakes and arrange client update meetings.

Draft standard court documents, forms and correspondence.

File and serve court materials and maintain organized client files.

Communicate with clients, counsel, experts and other parties.

Qualifications

Experience in litigation support, preferably plaintiff-side personal injury or long-term disability.

Strong organization, communication and computer skills, with close attention to detail.

Ability to manage competing deadlines and work collaboratively.

A positive attitude, strong work ethic and compassionate approach to clients.

Legal Assistant or Law Clerk diploma, or equivalent experience.
