Front Desk Receptionist - Guest services

About the Little Inn of Bayfield

Nestled in the heart of historic Bayfield, The little Inn is a charming boutique hotel known for its warm hospitality, exceptional dining, and memorable guest experiences.

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Front desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring every stay is seamless an enjoyable.

Key responsibilities

Guest Reception & Hospitality

- Welcome Guests and manage check-in and check-out procedures.
- Provide attentive, personalized service throughout each guest's stay.
- Share recommendations for local restaurants, shops, attractions, and experiences.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, amenities, and personalized arrangements.

Reservations & Administration

- Manage room reservations, modifications, and cancellations using WebRezPro.
- Respond to telephone calls, emails, and online booking inquiries.
- Process guest payments, deposits, and billing accurately.
- Maintain accurate guests records and reservation details.
- Complete daily administrative duties and maintain an organized area.

Team Coordination





- Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are guest-ready.
- Coordinate guest requests with restaurant and hotel staff.
- Support smooth daily operations and communicate important updates to management.

Qualifications & Skills

- Previous experience in hospitality, reception, retail or customer service is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Friendly, qualified, and welcoming personality.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using computers, email, and reservation software.
- Experience with WebRezPro is an asset.
- Reliable, Punctual, and committed to exceptional guest service.
- Available weekends.
