Overview

We are seeking friendly, attentive Front of House Staff to create a welcoming experience for every guest. In this hospitality role, you’ll support smooth restaurant operations by greeting and assisting guests, taking orders, processing payments, and coordinating with the kitchen and service team. You’ll help maintain a clean, organized dining area and uphold food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests, answer questions, and provide attentive customer service and guest services throughout their visit.
- Take and enter orders accurately using a POS system; experience with Micros POS is an asset.
- Support serving and food preparation tasks as needed, coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure orders are handled correctly and promptly.
- Process transactions, operate the register, and handle cash and card payments accurately.
- Use basic math and sound judgment to verify orders, payments, and change.
- Help guests understand menu options and make appropriate recommendations, including thoughtful upselling.
- Follow food handling, food safety, and sanitation procedures.




- Keep service stations and guest areas clean, stocked, and organized.
- Communicate clearly with coworkers and contribute to a positive, efficient team environment.
- Manage competing tasks and guest needs with strong time management.

Qualifications

- Customer service, hospitality, or guest-facing experience is preferred.
- Food service, restaurant, or food industry experience is an asset; serving, cashiering, or kitchen experience is helpful.
- Familiarity with POS systems is preferred, and Micros POS experience is a plus.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling and transactions.
- Understanding of food handling, food safety, sanitation, and basic food preparation practices, or willingness to learn.
- Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and time management skills.
- A friendly, qualified approach and the ability to stay attentive in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
