Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, dependable Cashier/Customer Service team member to create a positive shopping experience. This role combines accurate cashiering and POS transactions with attentive customer support, retail sales, and store presentation. The ideal candidate communicates clearly, stays organized in a busy environment, and enjoys helping customers find the right products.

Duties

- Welcome customers, answer questions, and provide helpful, courteous customer service throughout their visit.
- Process purchases, returns, and other transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Handle cash and other payment methods responsibly; use basic math to verify totals and provide correct change.
- Support sales by learning about products, explaining features, and making relevant recommendations.
- Use upselling appropriately by suggesting useful add-ons or alternatives based on customer needs.
- Demonstrate products and explain how they work; assist with product demos as needed.
- Help customers with technology-related products and questions; technology sales or technical sales experience is a plus.
- Maintain attractive displays, restock merchandise,



and support merchandising and general store organization.
- Answer customer calls with professional phone etiquette and direct inquiries to the appropriate team member when needed.
- Coordinate tasks with coworkers and contribute to a welcoming, orderly sales floor.

Qualifications

- Strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and a professional approach to service.
- Comfortable speaking and understanding English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle transactions accurately.
- Dependability, attention to detail, and solid organizational skills.
- Effective time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced retail setting.
- Interest in retail products and willingness to learn sales techniques, product information, and store procedures.
- Previous cashiering, cash handling, retail sales, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
