Salari Fine Carpet Collections is one of Vancouver’s leading showrooms for handmade carpets, serving architects and interior designers. We are adding a Showroom and Sales Assistant to our team: someone who looks after the showroom, helps clients choose the right carpet and keeps each order moving from quote to installation.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Welcome walk-in and phone clients, and help them select carpets.
- Prepare quotations, enter orders and follow up with designers on open projects.
- Support the sales team through each sale, from first visit to delivery.
- Arrange carpet samples and memo pieces for designers’ projects, and track their return.
- Coordinate deliveries and installations at client sites.
- Place orders with our suppliers and keep clients informed of timing.
- Keep the showroom presentation, merchandising and sample library in order.
- Support the team on key projects as needed.

WHAT YOU BRING

- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Reliability,



attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- The ability to manage several tasks and work independently.
- Confidence with computers: email, MS Office and web-based software. We train you on our order system.
- Able to help move and flip carpets in the showroom.

ASSETS - Not required, but valued:

- Education in interior design, architecture or a related field.
- Sales experience with designers and architects.
- Retail experience in home furnishings.
- Office or administrative experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
