The Kitchen Assistant / Cashier supports smooth daily service by preparing food, assisting customers, and processing transactions. This hands-on role combines kitchen tasks with front-of-house service, helping maintain an productive, welcoming experience for customers and a clean, organized workspace for colleagues.

Duties

- Prepare food and support serving while following food safety, food handling, and sanitation practices.
- Operate POS systems, process payments, handle cash, and complete basic math accurately.
- Assist customers, answer questions, and taking orders on the phone.
- Manage time across kitchen and cashier tasks, keeping service areas clean and ready for customers.

Requirements

Required: Practical food preparation, food handling, sanitation, food safety, cashiering, cash handling, POS operation, basic math, customer service, and time management capabilities support the role’s daily duties.
Preferred: Familiarity with Korean Food, Food service, restaurant, food industry, or kitchen experience; familiarity with POS, and serving.

Pay: From $15.70 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25.0 per week
