Job Type: Seasonal, temporary employment (T4)
Season: November 19 – December 20, 2026

About Treasy Toronto
Treasy brings the tradition of a real Christmas tree to families through a premium delivery experience. Featured on CBC's Dragons' Den in 2025, Treasy is a growing Canadian Christmas tree brand delivering real, Canadian-grown trees to households across the country.
We're building our Toronto team and looking for reliable, energetic drivers who combine safe driving, physical capability and excellent customer service.
The Role
As a Seasonal Delivery Driver, you'll drive a company truck and deliver real Christmas trees directly into customers' homes. You'll carry and position each tree, protect customers' property and help create a memorable experience for families during the holiday season.
This is an active, hands-on role suited to people who enjoy driving, working at pace and interacting with customers.
Experience delivering appliances, furniture or other bulky items into customers' homes is a strong asset. We're particularly interested in candidates who understand the demands of in-home delivery, not just parcel drop-offs.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a company delivery truck safely throughout Toronto and the GTA.
- Deliver, carry and position Christmas trees inside customers' homes.
- Provide friendly, skilled service to customers and their families.
- Load and organize the truck before routes and reload or reset it at the end of the day.
- Follow delivery instructions and communicate proactively with dispatch.
- Resolve delivery issues calmly and use good judgement on the road and in customers' homes.
- Work efficiently while maintaining safety and care for customers' property.
Qualifications
- Full Ontario G driver's licence and a clean driving record.
- Confidence operating delivery trucks and navigating GTA traffic, parking and residential streets.
- Experience in appliance delivery, furniture delivery, moving, installation or similar hands-on delivery work is a strong asset.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry and manoeuvre Christmas trees safely throughout long shifts.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, initiative and a strong work ethic.
- Comfort with early starts, evening finishes, weekends and physically demanding days.
- A smartphone with a data plan.
Schedule and Availability
The delivery season runs from November 19 to December 20, 2026, with paid onboarding and training beforehand.
Drivers typically work 2–4 days per week, primarily Thursday through Sunday, depending on delivery demand and availability. Delivery days can be long, with first deliveries typically around 8 a.m. and final deliveries sometimes as late as 8 or 9 p.m. Loading may take place the evening before a route.
Candidates available for consecutive delivery days and peak weekends are particularly encouraged to apply.
Compensation and Earning Potential
- $5 per completed tree delivery, paid through payroll.
- Keep 100% of customer tips. Last season, drivers averaged approximately $5 in tips per completed customer drop. Tips are discretionary and not guaranteed.
- Paid training at Ontario minimum wage.
- Applicable minimum-wage and overtime protections.
- Potential retention bonus for eligible returning drivers in the 2027 season.
Last season, drivers typically completed approximately 50–60 trees per route day. For 2026, denser routes are expected to support approximately 60–100 deliveries per day, depending on route conditions and performance.
Illustrative daily earnings, including tips estimated using last season's average:
- 50 deliveries: approximately $500 total.
- 60 deliveries: approximately $600 total.
- 75 deliveries: approximately $750 total.
- 100 deliveries: approximately $1,000 total.
These examples are illustrative, not guaranteed. They assume one customer drop per tree and approximately $5 in tips per drop. Actual earnings vary with delivery volume, route density, weather, traffic, customer tips, hours worked and individual performance. Applicable payroll deductions apply.
