Job Title : Commercial HVAC/R & Gas Technician (313A / G1 / G2 Licensed)

Location : Pembroke, ON (Servicing Renfrew County & Ottawa Valley)

Pay Range : $45.00 – $60.00 per hour (Based on licenses & experience)

SIGN-ON BONUS : Up to $5,000 Signing Bonus available for qualified dual-ticketed (313A + G1) technicians (staggered payout).

Job Type : Full-Time, Permanent | 40 hours/week + Paid On-Call Rotation

This position requires an active Ontario Trade License (313A Red Seal, G1/G2 Gas Fitter) or a registered 313A Apprenticeship. Applications from unlicensed candidates or general laborers will not be reviewed.

Key Responsibilities

- Commercial Service & Installation :



Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, installation, diagnosis, and repairs on commercial HVAC/R systems, chillers, cooling towers, rooftop units, split systems, boilers, makeup air units, and geothermal equipment.
- Diagnostics & Safety : Troubleshoot complex mechanical/electrical faults in strict compliance with TSSA and CSA safety protocols.
- Client Relations : Represent our company professionally, translating technical recommendations into clear options for our commercial clients.
- Work Orders : Maintain accurate, timely work order documentation and timesheets.

Qualifications & Experience

- Mandatory Trade License (One or more required):
- Gas : Active G1 Gas Fitter (preferred) or G2 Gas Fitter willing to upgrade to G1 status.
- Refrigeration : 313A Red Seal Certification, or 2nd/3rd-year Registered Apprentice.
- (Partially certified candidates are considered only with a verified minimum of 3-5 years of dedicated commercial refrigeration and G2 gas fitter experience).
- Technical Knowledge : Strong electrical background, proficiency with schematics/blueprints, and experience with refrigeration piping and break-fix service.
- General Requirements : Valid Driver’s License with a clean abstract, clear criminal record check, and local residency (or plans to relocate) within our primary service area.
