Mac-Weld Machining Ltd. is seeking a CNC Operator

Skills & Responsibilities

- Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling and turning.
- Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts into the machines.
- Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to maintain tight tolerances.
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
- Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
- Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as CNC operator and use of precision measurement tools is an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
- Mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
- Strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail.

This is a full-time day/evening rotating shift position in our Sarnia facility where the individual may be required to work weekends and overtime from time to time.

Remuneration: $21-$27 per hour
