Health Care Aide – South Edmonton

Alberta Homecare Solutions is hiring compassionate and reliable Health Care Aides to join our growing team in South Edmonton.

If you’re passionate about helping seniors and individuals with disabilities/Dementia remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

- Assist with personal care, bathing, dressing and grooming
- Provide mobility and transfer assistance
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when required
- Provide medication reminders/assistance according to the care plan
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide companionship and meaningful support
- Document care and report changes or concerns
- Follow individualized client care plans

What We’re Looking For

- Health Care Aide certification or equivalent preferred
- Previous home care or caregiving experience
- Experience with seniors, dementia and/or individuals with disabilities is an asset
- Reliable, compassionate and professional
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work independently in clients’ homes
- Reliable transportation is an asset
