Are you a detail-oriented CAD Drafter with strong AutoCAD skills and a background in civil engineering? This is an excellent opportunity to apply your technical drafting expertise to stormwater management systems, preparing accurate engineering drawings and shop drawing packages while collaborating with an experienced engineering team.

Schedule: Full-time | Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | On-site | Vaughan, Ontario

CAD Drafter – Stormwater Management Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed engineering drawings and shop drawing packages for stormwater management systems.

- Develop accurate AutoCAD drawings for engineering submissions and fabrication requirements.

- Read and interpret civil engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and reports.

- Review technical details and specifications to ensure drawing accuracy and completeness.

- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation in accordance with internal design and drafting standards.

- Maintain drawing registries, technical records, and engineering documentation.





- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to support project requirements and drawing revisions.

- Ensure drawings and documentation are completed accurately and within established deadlines.

- Manage multiple drafting assignments and respond to changing project priorities.

CAD Drafter – Stormwater Management Qualifications

- College diploma or university degree in Civil Engineering or a related civil engineering program.

- Proven hands-on experience with AutoCAD is required.

- Previous experience in a related industry is preferred.

- Experience reading and interpreting civil engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical reports.

- Registered with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) or eligible for future registration.

- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and technical documentation.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and manage competing deadlines.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

- High level of professionalism, integrity, and work ethic.
