Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
- Demonstrate product features for all types of domestic pets
- Assist customers with product selection, upselling relevant items to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain organized merchandising displays that attract customers and promote featured products
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure products are well-presented according to merchandising standards




- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Support store operations by managing time efficiently, adhering to cash handling procedures, and maintaining cleanliness

Qualifications

- Prior experience in retail sales or technology sales is preferred, especially with product knowledge and detailed explanations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and confidently
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing inventory counts
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures is a plus
- Demonstrated organizational skills and time management to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills that foster positive interactions
- Knowledge of merchandising principles, upselling techniques, and retail sales strategies is advantageous
