The ideal candidate for this position is fun, energetic, and engaging. Candidates should have some experience with the RCM curriculum and be able to effectively work with children ages five to adult. The Violin Teacher will be responsible for selecting appropriate materials with different skill levels and create a engaging class environment. The successful candidate will have experience teaching children, a track record of high student achievement, and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Teacher according to Synergy standards
- Have some theory certification
- Create lesson plans tailored to each student's learning style
- Plan activities to build students' interest in playing the violin
- Encourage students to practice regularly
- Give feedback during lessons and communicate effectively both with parent and student
- Must be available Tuesday evenings at our East location
- Must be available for a one year contract
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: $22.00-$29.00 per hour
