At Conlon Motorsports Leduc, we're looking for a skilled Marine & Powersports Service Technician to join our team.

This position is primarily focused on marine service and repairs, including outboard motors and related marine equipment. You'll also have the opportunity to work on ATVs, side-by-sides, motorcycles, and other powersports vehicles.

We're not looking for someone who simply enjoys working on engines in their spare time. We're looking for an experienced technician who knows their way around a service bay, takes pride in diagnosing problems correctly, and can deliver quality workmanship.

What You'll Be Doing

- Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair marine outboard engines and related systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, ignition, and fuel-system issues.
- Perform routine marine maintenance, seasonal servicing, and winterization.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair ATVs, side-by-sides, motorcycles, and other powersports equipment as needed.
- Use diagnostic tools, service manuals, and manufacturer resources to accurately identify and resolve problems.
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
- Work closely with our service department to ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of work.

What We're Looking For

Marine mechanical experience is a priority for this position. We're looking for someone who can confidently diagnose and repair equipment, not someone starting from scratch.

Required Qualifications:

- Professional, hands-on mechanical experience servicing and repairing marine engines, particularly outboard motors.
- Solid troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, and fuel-delivery systems.
- Ability to work independently, identify problems, and complete repairs with minimal supervision.
- Ability to interpret service manuals, technical diagrams, and repair procedures.
- A commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- A valid driver's licence.

Additional Assets:

- Experience servicing Yamaha, Suzuki, Mercury, or other outboard engines.
- Experience working on ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, or snowmobiles.
- Manufacturer-specific technical training or certifications.
- Experience using computerized diagnostic equipment.
- Previous experience in a dealership or professional repair facility.
