We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support Pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing patient records, and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations. This role involves providing exceptional patient service and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist Pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Manage and update patient records with confidentiality and attention to detail
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under supervision
- Prepare medication labels and packaging according to pharmacy protocols
- Maintain inventory levels, restock supplies, and ensure proper storage of medications
- Support administrative tasks; data entry, filing, and processing insurance claims
- Manage front store responsibilities; inventory management, stocking, merchandising and customer assistance
- Other duties as assigned

Skills, Abilities, and Experience:

- A minimum 2-3 years of related, recent experience is required
- Successful completion of post-secondary Pharmacy Assistant program
- Working knowledge of Kroll software is required
- Physical capabilities to stand for long periods of time, and lift up to 20 lbs.




- Flexible availability to work various shifts including Saturdays
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on confidentiality
- Skilled demeanor and courteous nature

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
