Registered Practical Nurse
- Part Time (Ambulatory Care) Department / Unit: Ambulatory Care Part Time Posting Date: Headwaters Health Care Centre. One Community, Caring Together. We are looking for a Registered Practical Nurse to work with our Ambulatory Care Department to help us continue in our mission to serve our community with Kindness, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork. The successful applicant will perform the duties expected of a Registered Practical Nurse within the Ambulatory Care Department. The Registered Practical Nurse is responsible and accountable for providing quality patient/family focused nursing care to a patient population with predictable outcomes. As part of the interdisciplinary health team, the RPN will practice within their full scope in accordance with the nursing philosophy and standards set by HHCC, the College of Nurses of Ontario and the Regulated Health Professions Act legislation. Current Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)



certification in positive standing from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) Perioperative Nursing 1 and 2 course completion, or Surgical pathway certification, required Additional Courses/certifications related to services provided in Ambulatory Care setting an asset. (Wound Care, Intravenous Therapy Course, Coronary Care Certificate, Pediatrics) Appropriate lifting techniques Acceptable performance and attendance records They determine how we work, how we behave, and how we relate to our patients, their families, and caregivers as well as to everyone who is part of the Headwaters community
