Summary
As a Saw Operator, you’ll operate saw equipment to support the production of agricultural equipment. Your impact: Accurate cutting helps production coworkers assemble components efficiently and build equipment to specification.
Responsibilities
- Operate saw equipment to cut material for manufacturing.
- Read blueprints or work instructions to determine cutting requirements.
- Measure material and verify dimensions using appropriate tools.
- Inspect cut pieces for quality and report issues.
- Handle materials and keep the work area orderly.
- Qualifications
- Relevant manufacturing experience or familiarity with production work.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions.
- Basic math and measurement skills; familiarity with calipers is an asset.
- Preferred: CNC or CNC laser cutting knowledge.
- Preferred: Mechanical knowledge, hand tools, assembly, or material-handling equipment experience.
