Duties

- Deliver lessons or activities aligned with session goals and participants’ learning needs.

- Monitor engagement and understanding, adjusting instruction and offering constructive guidance as needed.
- Maintain an organized, respectful learning environment and coordinate with colleagues on session needs.

Experience

- Required: Clear communication, teaching ability, patience, and the practical skills to guide group learning, explain material, and respond constructively to questions. Preferred: Classroom experience and prior teaching are valuable strengths, along with adaptability, organization, and a collaborative approach to supporting learners.
- Looking for Instructors in Computers, Advanced Computers Skills and Excel, Cashier Training, Mental Health in the Work Place, WHMIS, Serving it Right, Selling it Right, Customer Service and more.
- Must be willing to teach on campus, online and possibly away on location at times

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Nanaimo, BC V9R 4Y7
