Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client assessments to understand individual needs and develop personalized massage therapy plans
- Perform professional massage treatments utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, or sports massage
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records in accordance with privacy regulations
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up sessions or wellness practices
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment at all times
- Uphold all licensing, certification,
and safety standards required by state regulations
- Collaborate with other wellness professionals to provide comprehensive care when necessary
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and wellness
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients
- Solid communication skills for effective client consultations and team collaboration
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends as needed
Pay: $75.00-$101.88 per hour
