Job Overview

- The Hotel Room Attendant / Houseperson helps maintain clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and shared hotel spaces.
- This hands-on hospitality role combines room cleaning with support for housekeeping operations. Hotel experience is helpful but not required; training may be provided.
- Work is performed on-site and may involve standing, walking, bending, and moving supplies throughout the shift.
- Available to work evenings, and weekends required.

Duties

- Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned areas according to hotel standards.
- Change linens, make beds, replenish towels and guest amenities, and remove trash.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize surfaces using appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
- Respond to housekeeping requests by delivering supplies, linens, and other items to guest rooms.
- Assist with transporting laundry, housekeeping carts, and supplies; keep storage and service areas organized.
- Report maintenance issues, damaged items, safety concerns,



and lost property to the appropriate team member.
- Follow safe work practices and hotel procedures while providing courteous, respectful service to guests and colleagues.

Requirements

- Ability to perform routine cleaning tasks and use cleaning products and equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage assigned tasks efficiently.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and handle the physical demands of housekeeping work, including bending and moving supplies.
- Hotel experience, hospitality, industrial cleaning, or custodial experience is an asset, but not required.
- Willingness to learn hotel cleaning standards, follow instructions, and work cooperatively as part of a team.

Pay: $17.95 per hour
