Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server/Bartender to provide welcoming and efficient service in a hospitality-focused workplace. This role combines serving and bartending duties, including taking orders, preparing beverages, processing payments, and helping maintain a clean, safe dining area. Candidates should enjoy working with guests and collaborating with a team in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests, explain menu options, answer questions, and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit.
- Take and accurately enter food and beverage orders using a POS system; experience with Micros POS is a plus.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and check in with guests to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes, service standards, and applicable requirements.
- Process guest payments, operate the register, and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Maintain clean, organized service stations and dining areas.
- Follow food safety and food handling practices, including proper sanitation and safe beverage preparation.




- Coordinate with kitchen and service team members to support smooth, timely food service.
- Manage multiple tables and tasks while maintaining accuracy and professionalism during busy periods.

Qualifications

- Previous restaurant, food service, or food industry experience is preferred.
- Experience with serving and bartending is an asset.
- Familiarity with POS systems; Micros POS experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service and hospitality skills, with a courteous and professional approach.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work well in a rapid-paced team environment.
- Basic math and math skills for order accuracy, payment processing, and cash handling.
- Experience with cashiering and handling cash responsibly.
- Knowledge of food safety and food handling practices, or willingness to learn and follow established procedures.

Pay: $16.40-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
