About Us
K1 Speed St. Catharines is an indoor electric go-kart track that hosts birthday parties, corporate team-building events, private group races, and more. We’re looking for an organized, high-energy Event Coordinator who loves making sure every group has an amazing day at the track, from the first inquiry to the final podium photo.

What You’ll Do

- Answer event inquiries, build quotes and packages, and book birthday parties, corporate events, team outings, and private track rentals
- Plan each event from start to finish: race formats, scheduling, food and catering, and guest headcounts
- Follow up on leads and grow group bookings with local businesses, schools, sports teams, and community groups
- Run events on the day: welcome groups, coordinate with track and front-desk staff, keep races on schedule, and solve problems as they come up
- Handle deposits, invoices, and client billing, and keep booking records accurate
- Collect guest feedback after events, and help create promotions and social media content for group bookings

What You Bring

- 1–3 years of experience in event coordination, hospitality, group sales, or an entertainment venue
- A diploma or degree in hospitality, tourism,



communications, business, or a related field is an asset
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and email; booking or POS software experience is an asset
- Friendly, confident communication on the phone, by email, and in person
- Organized, detail-oriented, and calm when things get busy
- Sales experience or comfort following up with leads is a strong asset

Schedule & Work Environment

- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays, which are our busiest times
- On-site role in a fast-paced entertainment venue, with regular standing, walking, and some light lifting
