Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Food and Beverage Server to provide welcoming, efficient service in a hospitality setting. The ideal candidate enjoys helping guests, works well with a team, and can balance accuracy with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests, answer questions, and provide attentive customer service and guest services throughout their visit.
- Take and enter orders accurately using a POS system;
- Serve food and beverages promptly, check in with guests, and respond professionally to requests or concerns.
- Recommend menu items and use thoughtful upselling to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle payments and transactions accurately, including cashiering, cash handling, and basic math.
- Follow food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures when serving, preparing, or transporting food and beverages.
- Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed.
- Keep service areas clean, organized, and stocked,



and coordinate with kitchen and service staff.
- Use strong time management to prioritize tasks and maintain smooth service during busy periods.

Experience

- Food service experience, serving, or restaurant experience is preferred; experience in the broader food industry or hospitality is also valuable.
- Familiarity with POS systems is helpful, and Micros POS experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of food safety, food handling, sanitation, and basic food preparation practices is preferred.
- Kitchen experience is beneficial but not required.
- Comfortable with basic math, handling transactions, and maintaining accuracy while working at a steady pace.
- Strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and a guest-focused approach are essential.

Pay: $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
