Apidae Compassion Care is looking for compassionate, dependable, and respectful individuals to join our team serving St. Paul, Elk Point, and surrounding communities.

We help seniors and individuals who need additional support remain secure, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Our caregivers make a difference through practical assistance, companionship, and person-centred care.

We welcome applicants with relevant experience, as well as individuals interested in companionship and homemaking roles who meet the requirements of the position.

Positions Available

Caregivers

- Assist with daily living activities as appropriate to your training and qualifications.
- Prepare meals and provide light housekeeping.
- Support clients with everyday routines and activities.
- Encourage independence, dignity, and well-being.

Companions

- Provide friendly conversation and meaningful social interaction.
- Participate in games, hobbies, and recreational activities.
- Accompany clients on outings and appointments when required.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping as assigned.

Health Care Aides (HCAs)

- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
- Assist with mobility and positioning within your training and competency.
- Observe, document, and report changes in clients' conditions.
- Follow care plans, safety procedures, and applicable Alberta practice requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

- HCAs must meet applicable Alberta qualification and practice requirements.
- Caregiver and Companion qualifications depend on the duties of the position.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification is required.
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation may be required for certain assignments.
- Required background checks and employment documentation must be completed as applicable.
