We are seeking an experienced Loss Prevention Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of loss prevention programs across retail and client locations throughout Ontario.

This role is responsible for establishing strong client partnerships, delivering best-in-class loss prevention strategies, and ensuring programs are compliant with applicable legislation, industry standards, and client requirements.The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in retail and multi-site environments, with a proven ability to build trusted relationships, support clients in mitigating risk, and represent the organization through industry networking and professional associations, including the Retail Council of Canada and related conferences and events.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive loss prevention programs for retail and client sites across Ontario.

· Conduct risk assessments and recommend strategies to reduce theft, shrink, fraud, workplace violence, and other operational losses.

· Lead the growth of Loss Prevention Programs by identifying business development opportunities and building current accounts.

· Partner closely with new and existing clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored loss prevention solutions.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and operational teams to ensure program effectiveness and client satisfaction.

· Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on emerging trends, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.





· Ensure loss prevention programs align with provincial legislation, occupational health and safety requirements, privacy legislation, and client-specific standards.

· Develop policies, procedures, and training programs that promote compliance and operational excellence.

· Provide guidance and support during investigations involving theft, fraud, misconduct, and other loss-related incidents.

· Analyze trends, metrics, and incident data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and risk reduction.

· Deliver training and coaching to management teams, loss prevention personnel, and frontline employees.

· Support audits, inspections, and program reviews to ensure ongoing compliance and consistency.

· Foster collaboration between internal departments and external partners to strengthen overall security and loss prevention initiatives.

· Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking forums, including those hosted by the Retail Council of Canada and other professional associations.

· Build and maintain relationships with retailers, industry peers, law enforcement agencies, and community stakeholders.

· Stay current on industry developments, retail crime trends,



and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

· Minimum 5–10 years of progressive experience in loss prevention, asset protection, or security management.

· Demonstrated experience designing and implementing loss prevention programs for retail operations and client sites.

· Strong knowledge of retail shrink reduction strategies, investigations, risk management, and compliance requirements.

· Experience managing client relationships and acting as a strategic partner to external stakeholders.

· Established network within the retail and loss prevention community and active participation in industry associations.

· Knowledge of Ontario legislation and applicable regulatory standards.

· Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Experience developing and delivering training programs and standard operating procedures.

· Valid Ontario driver's licence and ability to travel throughout the province as required.

Preferred Qualifications

· LPQ, LPC, CPP, CFI, or ASIS certifications are considered an asset.

· Experience working with large retail chains, shopping centres, or third-party clients.

· Knowledge of physical security systems, CCTV, access control, and exception reporting platforms.

· Previous leadership or program management experience.

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
