McCarty Squared Inc. is looking for a full-time Sales Assistant — Construction & Renovation to support our management team, Project Managers, and Sales team with residential renovation projects.

This role is focused on sales support, client follow-up, and helping keep renovation projects organized from first contact through completion. The ideal candidate has sales or customer-service experience and a strong interest or background in construction and renovations.

Responsibilities

Sales and Client Development

- Make cold calls and follow up with new leads, past clients, and potential customers.
- Respond to client inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
- Schedule sales meetings, site visits, and estimate appointments.
- Attend client meetings and site visits with management or Project Managers when needed.
- Collect client requirements, project details, photos, and renovation goals.
- Help prepare estimates, scopes of work, proposals, and client presentations.
- Follow up with clients on approvals, selections, changes, and next steps.
- Maintain leads, client notes, estimates, and project information in Houzz Pro.

Project and Operations Support

- Assist management and Project Managers with the day-to-day progress of renovation projects.
- Track project tasks, approvals, deadlines, material selections, and outstanding items.
- Visit active job sites when needed to review progress, take photos, and report updates to management.
- Assist with communication between clients, trades, suppliers, and internal team members.
- Assist with supplier quotes, purchase orders, material coordination, and delivery follow-up.
- Maintain organized project files, including drawings, photos, quotes, contracts, schedules, and approvals.
- Prepare change orders and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Assist with social-media photos, videos, and project updates, when needed.

Required Software Skills





- Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and email.
- Willingness to learn XactRemodel and Houzz Pro; training will be provided.
- Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for client communication, photos, and project updates.
- Experience with Canva, design software, or drafting software is a strong asset.

Requirements

- Previous sales, customer-service, business-development, or administrative experience.
- Experience or strong knowledge of construction or renovation projects.
- Robust communication, customer-service, and client-handling skills.
- Comfortable making cold calls and following up with potential clients.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Comfortable visiting active job sites when needed and communicating with clients, trades, and suppliers.
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Own reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to learn construction drawings, measurements, renovation processes, and company software.

Assets

- Knowledge and experience in design-build renovation projects.
- Ability to read construction or renovation drawings.
- Ability to take accurate site measurements and prepare sketches, layouts, or basic design drawings.
- Experience using Canva for social-media posts, presentations, project updates, or marketing materials.
- Experience with design or drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Chief Architect, or Floorplanner.
- Experience in estimating, purchasing, drafting, or project administration.
- Experience creating social-media content, including photos, videos, reels, and captions.
- Knowledge of renovation materials, finishes, and construction processes.

Pay: $17.95-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
