Job Summary

The Mechanical Assembler builds and fits mechanical components using drawings, schematics, and appropriate tools. This hands-on role supports reliable manufacturing by completing assembly work carefully and coordinating with colleagues when parts or instructions need clarification.

Responsibilities

- Assemble components and subassemblies according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and calipers to fit parts, check measurements, and identify assembly issues.
- Support machining and welding tasks as appropriate to the work, following established procedures and maintaining an orderly work area.
- Handle and move materials safely; use forklift equipment where applicable and assist with warehouse activities.

Qualifications

Required: Practical mechanical knowledge, assembly ability, blueprint and schematic reading,



and confidence using hand tools, power tools, and calipers are significant for accurate work. Careful measurement, attention to detail, and clear communication help you follow instructions and coordinate effectively with colleagues. Your impact: Accurate assemblies help production teams keep work moving and deliver dependable finished products.

Preferred: Manufacturing or warehouse experience, along with familiarity with machining, welding, or forklift operation, is advantageous and can support flexibility across assembly and material-handling tasks.

Pay: $21.00-$29.54 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
