Wild Beast Cafe | Neighborhood Brunch & Weekend Dinner

Wild Beast Cafe is where bold Asian fusion meets modern brunch and weekend dinner. We're a neighborhood spot built on big flavors, good energy, and a kitchen that moves with purpose. From creative brunch plates to vibrant dinner service, we take pride in food that's both refined and approachable.

We're now open and building a kitchen team of experienced cooks. We're hiring at two levels depending on experience: Junior Sous Chef or Senior Line Cook.

What You'll Do

- Work wherever the line needs you during brunch (daily) and dinner (Fri–Sun) service, with speed, consistency, and precision
- Support the Chef with prep, daily operations, and kitchen standards
- Maintain recipe, portioning, and plating standards
- Keep your station clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards
- Help guide and train junior cooks
- Junior Sous: own ordering for the kitchen (par levels, inventory counts, supplier orders) and support the Chef with prep planning and cost control
- Senior Line Cook: assist with ordering and inventory as you grow into the role





What We're Looking For

- Junior Sous: 4+ years of skilled kitchen experience, including 1+ year in a lead or senior role
- Senior Line Cook: 3+ years of professional kitchen experience in a high-volume kitchen
- Confident on every station of the hot line, with solid technique and flavor balance
- Ability to stay calm and organized in high-volume service
- Clear communicator and reliable team player
- Weekend availability required (Fri–Sun dinner service)

Pay & Team

- $20 – $23/hour based on experience, plus tip share. Everyone on the kitchen team shares in the tips.
- A team that has each other's back. Respectful, organized, and fun enough that people want to come to work.
