Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of vehicle systems, including engines, powertrains, transmissions, and automotive electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and preventative maintenance inspections.
- Safely and efficiently operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, service manuals, and manufacturer specifications to identify and resolve complex automotive issues.




- Ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed to manufacturer standards and established safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of diagnostics, repairs, and services performed.
- Deliver high-quality workmanship while contributing to a professional, efficient, and customer-focused service environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, preferably in an automotive dealership or professional repair facility.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, components, and repair procedures.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with vehicle diagnostic software and advanced troubleshooting techniques is an asset.
- Ability to safely perform physical tasks, including lifting and handling vehicle.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety, efficiency, and ongoing professional development.
- OEM training, knowledge and experience is considered an asset.

Experience:

Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

Red Seal (preferred)

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 50.0 per week
