Job Summary

The Shift Supervisor coordinates daily store operations, supports the team on shift, and helps deliver attentive customer service and effective retail sales. This role balances floor coverage, cashiering, merchandising, and administrative tasks while keeping work organized and customer needs in focus.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coach team members, coordinate shift priorities, and support training and development.
- Assist customers, oversee POS transactions and cash handling, and help resolve service concerns with transparent communication.
- Maintain merchandising and pricing standards; support sales, purchasing, and inventory-related tasks.
- Assist with scheduling, payroll records, recruiting, interviewing, and budget or bookkeeping tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Required: Practical leadership, communication, organization, time management, basic math, and POS and cash-handling capabilities support safe, accurate shift operations and responsive customer service. Preferred: Supervising experience, retail sales or management experience, and strengths in team management, merchandising, recruiting, payroll, purchasing, budgeting, pricing, training, negotiation, marketing, bookkeeping, administrative work, interviewing, phone etiquette, or bilingual or multilingual communication are advantageous.

Pay: $17.95-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
