Job Overview

The Truck Dispatcher coordinates freight movements, communicates shipment updates, and keeps dispatch information accurate. Working across transportation and supply chain operations, you help connect drivers, customers, and colleagues so shipments move smoothly and teams can respond to changing schedules.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate freight pickups, deliveries, and schedules, sharing clear updates with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
- Enter shipment details, dispatch changes, and status updates accurately in transportation management systems and related records.
- Use analysis skills to monitor shipment progress, identify delays or discrepancies, and communicate timely next steps.
- Support shipping and receiving coordination and work with 3PL partners to help maintain reliable freight flow.

Skills

Required: Clear communication, professional phone etiquette, accurate data entry, typing, and confidence using multi-line phone systems are practical strengths for coordinating dispatch activity and maintaining dependable records. Preferred: Familiarity with transportation management systems, supply chain operations, freight, 3PL coordination, shipping and receiving, you contribute effectively.

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
