Job Summary

The Class 1 driver transports freight safely and reliably, supporting timely deliveries and smooth coordination with colleagues and customers. The role involves operating a commercial vehicle, handling freight, and following established procedures throughout each journey.

Responsibilities

- Operate a commercial vehicle on assigned routes, plan journeys, and complete deliveries in line with schedules and procedures.
- Secure, load, unload, and inspect freight, using forklift equipment when appropriate and following safe handling practices.
- Carry out vehicle checks, report defects promptly, and support routine upkeep to help keep equipment road-ready.
- Coordinate delivery updates and freight handovers with colleagues and customers. Your impact:

Requirements

Required: Minimum 1 year experience. Practical commercial driving capability, safe freight handling, attention to vehicle condition, and transparent communication are essential to completing deliveries and reporting issues effectively. Preferred: Forklift operation, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair skills are advantageous, as is related experience that supports efficient freight handling, basic vehicle upkeep, and coordination with the wider team.

Pay: $7,000.00-$8,000.00 per month
