What You’ll Do

Eager to take on a rewarding challenge? As a Junior Environmental Consultant, you'll work alongside experienced professionals on a variety of assessment, remediation, reclamation, and monitoring projects throughout Alberta. This role offers hands-on experience across all project phases, from fieldwork to reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
- Support groundwater, soil, and environmental monitoring programs
- Support site-specific liability assessments and acquisition reviews
- Assist with spill response, site assessment,



and remediation activities
- Support soil management and reclamation projects
- Participate in Detailed Site Assessments and Reclamation Certificate applications
- Complete field investigations and site inspections
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for senior review
- Participate in vegetation management and surface reclamation projects
- Travel to field locations throughout Alberta, including remote sites
- Take part in Ecoventure's mentorship and professional development programs

What We’re Looking for

Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Environmental Sciences, Natural Resource Management, or a related field
- Working toward professional designation (P.Ag., P.Biol., P.Chem., P.Eng., or R.T.Ag.)
- 1 to 2+ years of experience in environmental consulting, remediation, reclamation, or site assessment
- Understanding of Alberta's environmental regulations and the oil and gas industry
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfortable working outdoors and in remote environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
