We’re hiring Operations Officers II to support financial operations at a leading financial institution. These are back-office roles focused on accurate transaction processing, account reconciliations, and responsive service.

Role details

- Locations: onsite Toronto, ON and Mississauga, ON
- Up to Pay: $25.00/hour + 4% vacation pay

Extensions and potential conversion may be available based on business needs and performance.

What you’ll do

- Process financial and non-financial transactions accurately and within service-level timelines, including deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, settlements, and debit or credit postings.
- Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and follow up on outstanding items.
- Maintain accurate documentation and monitor account activity for exceptions.
- Follow policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Escalate unusual, high-risk, or unresolved issues promptly.
- Work across multiple applications and collaborate with internal teams and, where required, clients or business partners.
- Support service and process improvements while contributing to a collaborative team.

What you’ll bring





- Post-secondary education or certification; financial coursework is an asset.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including macros, VLOOKUPs, and PivotTables.
- Experience in banking, financial services, accounting, account reconciliation, or financial operations.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills, reliability, and a customer-service mindset.

Prior experience with registered plans such as RSPs or TFSAs, customer service, corporate operations, is an asset.
