We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a growing team in Ontario on a contract-to-permanent basis. This opportunity is well suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving business, turning complex financial and operational data into explicit recommendations for leaders across the organization. The role offers exposure to planning, forecasting, reporting, and cross-functional projects, making it ideal for an analytical individual who is eager to contribute beyond routine reporting.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze financial, sales, and operational results to identify trends, explain variances, and support forward-looking business decisions.
- Build, refine, and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that provide clear visibility into performance metrics for finance, marketing, and leadership teams.
- Partner with stakeholders across departments to gather business needs, document requirements, and translate them into practical reporting or analytical solutions.
- Support quarterly forecasting and ongoing planning activities by consolidating data, validating assumptions, and highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Develop financial models and ad hoc analyses to evaluate business performance, commercial initiatives, and emerging priorities.
- Work with large data sets using tools such as Power BI, Snowflake, Excel, and CRM platforms to produce accurate and actionable insights.
- Contribute to project-based initiatives by performing gap analysis, preparing documentation, and helping teams adapt to changing business priorities.
- Communicate findings in a concise and meaningful way to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders.
- 2-5 years of experience in business analysis, FP& A, commercial planning, or a related analytical role.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience creating reports or dashboards in Power BI.




- Familiarity with data environments such as Snowflake and the ability to work confidently with large or complex data sets.
- Experience gathering requirements, producing business requirement documents, and supporting documentation in a structured manner.
- Working knowledge of Agile Scrum practices and tools such as Atlassian Jira.
- Ability to perform gap analysis, support A/B testing initiatives, and connect findings to business objectives.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to stakeholders across finance, marketing, and leadership teams.
- Comfortable managing ad hoc requests and multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
