Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Parts Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, sourcing parts, and supporting procurement processes to ensure seamless operations across manufacturing and service departments. This role requires strong organizational skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience with supply chain systems. The Parts Technician will play a critical role in maintaining optimal inventory levels, facilitating sourcing negotiations, and providing excellent customer service to internal teams and external vendors. Duties

- Manage and maintain inventory levels using ERP systems and CMMS software
- Source and procure parts efficiently through negotiation and supplier sourcing strategies
- Perform data entry related to inventory transactions, purchase orders, and procurement records
- Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of parts and supplies
- Assist with demand planning to forecast future parts needs based on production schedules
- Support the purchasing process by evaluating supplier options and negotiating terms
- Ensure compliance with safety standards when handling parts,



including operating forklifts when necessary
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify mechanical parts required for repairs or upgrades
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and inventory movements
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal departments by promptly addressing parts requests

Requirements

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of supply chain processes
- Natural Gas Compression experience a strong asset
- Proficiency in data entry, purchasing, sourcing, and negotiation skills
- Ability to operate forklifts safely when handling heavy or bulky items
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management
- Strong communication skills for effective vendor negotiations and internal coordination
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
