Dye Sublimation Operator and Manager

Full time - Monday- Friday (weekends are also possible).

Salary: Hourly $19-21/hour.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate is highly organized and passionate about problem solving. Success in the manufacturing industry comes from attention to details, project, input and timeline management as well as strategic and fluid planning. The Dye Sublimation Manager is responsible for managing an effective workflow while operating our oil drum sublimation machine while following proper procedures to ensure the orders run efficiently on schedule and within quality standards.

Role Responsibilities:

- Oversee all general production processes for Sublimation Machine.
- Work with Senior Management team to set and reach ambitious production goals.
- Assist in planning and organizing production schedules, creating and tracking cut-sheets, making sure all relevant information is clear and communicated for all orders.
- Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure maximum productivity and minimal downtime.
- Receive input goods and manage the orders to most efficiently support factory flow.
- Excellent team communication.
- Always strive to increase productivity.
- Ensuring work area is safe, clean and organized to factory standards.




- Set and manager adherence to quality control standards for each order.
- Move and manage fabric rolls for sublimation machine. Some heavier lifting is required.

Required Skills:

- 1 year experience in sublimation or garment production and sewing at the factory level.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant education preferred.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, including both spoken and written English.

Soft Skills:

- Problem solving.
- Strong communication, team working and leadership skills.
- Confidence in decision making.
- Technical skills of garment and pattern making (not a priority).
- Computer skills in simple programs such as excel, word and any relevant CAD programs.

The successful candidate will need to be open-minded, personable and a team player who enjoys working well with everyone.

Job Types: Full-time – Monday to Friday (weekends if needed).

Schedule:

- 8 - 9 hour shift

- Scarborough, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
