Overview

We are seeking a skilled and agile Line Cook to join our culinary team. Starting wage is $19 plus tips. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead kitchen operations, oversee food safety standards, and contribute to creating exceptional dining experiences. The Line Cook will support our Red Seal Head Chef in managing daily kitchen activities, ensuring high-quality food service, and maintaining a cohesive team environment. Responsibilities

- Assist in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain compliance with health regulations
- Serve as a leader in the kitchen during service hours, maintaining a positive work environment




- Monitor food quality and presentation to uphold the restaurant’s reputation for excellence
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area

Qualifications

- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
- Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with effective team management skills
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to serve as a role model for staff
- Prior experience in the food industry or hospitality sector preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for culinary arts and delivering exceptional customer service
