Job Description
Design Shop React is looking for a reliable, motivated individual to join our team as a Screen Printing Assistant / Operator Trainee.
This is a hands-on position where you'll assist with daily screen printing production while learning the skills needed to become an independent Screen Printing Operator.
Previous experience is an asset, but we're willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Assist with screen printing production and job setups.
- Prepare screens, inks, garments, and materials.
- Load and unload garments during production.
- Assist with screen cleaning, coating, and reclaiming.
- Inspect prints for quality and consistency.
- Count, organize, and package completed orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Learn to set up, operate, and maintain screen printing equipment.
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift/carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must have a valid driver's licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle for occasional work-related trips (vehicle use is compensated).
- Previous screen printing or production experience is an asset, but not required.
