We are currently looking for a Parts Counter Person for our Service and Production facility located in Woodstock:

Job Duties

- Placing technicians’ orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
- Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
- Filling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributing items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.
- Ensuring store is accessible and secure for employee and customer traffic.
- Opening bales, crates, and other containers.
- Assisting in counting of physical inventory.
- Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
- Loads and unloads delivery trucks for the purpose of receiving stock and/or filling orders for transport.
- Responds to inquiries of staff for the purpose of providing information and/or direction regarding the status of deliveries, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Two (2) years of experience as a Parts Counter Staff.
- Automotive parts knowledge a definite asset.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,



operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of filling out waybills and bills of landing and international shipments.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Computer literacy, including working skills of Excel and e-mail.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

Work Conditions:

- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Overtime as required.
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Work is performed in a combination of environments.
- This position may be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, odours, fumes and oils.
- Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Experience:

- automotive or truck parts: 2 years (preferred)
