What you’ll do:

The Assistant Gas Bar Manager assists in overseeing the daily operations of the Gas Bar while fostering a positive team environment that reflects the Co-op’s vision, mission, values, brand, and safety culture. This position requires demonstrated retail experience, a commitment to exceptional customer service and merchandising standards, and strong organizational and leadership abilities.

· Assist with the overall operation of the Gas Bar and assume responsibility for daily operations in the absence of the Gas Bar Manager.

· Provide prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service to customers and members, ensuring all customers are completely satisfied with their Co-op Gas Bar experience.

· Provide leadership and direction and training for new and existing employees in accordance with company policies, procedures, programs, merchandising standards and overall expectations.

· Manage various administrative functions, including daily cash balancing, ordering, receiving, and file maintenance, while assisting the Gas Bar Manager in driving operational efficiency and achieving budgeted performance goals. Provide input and insights to support annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning initiatives.





· Assist with Performance Management. Provide feedback and coaching; constant communication and assist with semi-annual performance reviews.

· Work with Maintenance Supervisor to maintain a safe and clean interior and exterior image.

· Other duties as required.
