Process Metallurgist

About Lion One:
Lion One Metals is developing the high grade Tuvatu Alkaline Gold Project on the island of Viti Levu, Fiji, with an operating underground mine and gold processing plant.

The role:
The Process Metallurgist will help optimise gold recovery and plant performance, working with the Mill Manager and operations team on daily metallurgical accounting, test work and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:

- Monitor plant performance, recoveries and reagent use, and report on daily and monthly metallurgical results.
- Plan and run test work to improve throughput and gold recovery.
- Maintain metallurgical accounting and sampling procedures.
- Support troubleshooting in the crushing, grinding,



gravity and leach circuits.
- Promote safe work practices and environmental compliance in the plant.

Requirements:

- Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or Mineral Processing.
- At least 3 years of experience in a gold processing plant.
- Robust data analysis skills and experience with metallurgical accounting.
- Able to work a rotating roster on site.
