YOUR ROLE

As Shop Foreman, you’ll do more than assign work. You’ll set the pace for the entire shop. You’re the operational bridge between service advisors, technicians, and management — making sure every job is properly assigned, executed to Mach 6 standards, and delivered on our commitments.

At Mach 6, a shop isn’t running well because the bays are full. It’s running well when every job is moving, every technician is growing, and nobody is surprised by a timeline.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

- Daily workflow — assigning work by skill level, bay availability and priority
- Monitoring job progress and clearing bottlenecks before they cost hours
- Planning daily workload with service advisors on timelines and expectations
- Quality control inspections and final checks before jobs close
- Advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting and inspection validation
- Leading, coaching and developing technicians and apprentices
- Training, onboarding and promoting Mach 6 S.P.E.E.D. values
- Work order accuracy, SOP adherence and workflow improvements

QUALIFICATIONS

- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician with Red Seal designation
- 4+ years of industry experience — foreman or shop leadership preferred
- Field truck experience and the fitness for hands-on shop work
- Air brakes ticket, Class 1 or Class 3 licence an asset
- Planning, prioritization and communication that keep a shop moving
- Comfortable with cloud-based work orders and digital documentation
